The Whispering Willows Herd
Additional Herdsires and Younger Males
Whispering Willows Alpacas at Fishback Creek Farm

Sire and Grandsire are Grey Champions!

Weanling Male; Future Herdsire
COLOR: True Black
ARI:  30507449                DOB:  8/8/2010

The promising young male is the son of the multi-champion male Lord Stirling and
grandson of the amazing Captain Nemo!  Oliver appears to have it all. He is solid true
black with no spots, and his fleece is showing good density, character, and handle. He
is a big boned boy that stands tall and proud with balance and squareness. We can't
wait to watch this guy grow up! Look for him in the show ring in fall 2011.

Oliver is named for Oliver Heaviside, who was a self-taught English electrical engineer,
mathematician, and physicist who adapted complex numbers to the study of electrical
circuits, invented mathematical techniques to the solution of differential equations,
reformulated equations used to describe electric and magnetic forces and energy flux,
and independently formulated vector analysis. Heaviside also advanced the idea that
the Earth's uppermost atmosphere contained an ionized layer known as the
ionosphere. Although at odds with the scientific establishment for most of his life,
Heaviside changed the face of mathematics and science for years to come. His most
famous quote was: "Why should I refuse a good dinner simply because I don't
understand the digestive processes involved?"

Throws Great Cria!

Proven Herdsire;  Full Peruvian
COLOR:  Medium Fawn
ARI:  1129601                 DOB:  9/6/2002

Peruvian Noahh joined the Whispering Willows Alpacas herdsire row in Spring 2011!
Our thanks to our long-time business partner Sandi Nesbit of Pastoral Profits, LLC, for
allowing us to acquire Noahh to add to our outstanding line-up of huacaya herdsires.

Noahh is a fantastic herdsire with good size, excellent conformation, and outstanding,
blue-ribbon winning fleece. His fleece is dense with great handle, long staple length,
and incredible crimp.

Noahh has 15+ cria on the ground now, most of which are female! He has consistently
thrown cria with good conformation, nice "typey" heads, and his trademark dense,
crimpy fleece. He also has a great history of throwing colored cria out of colored
dams--often the identical color of the dam!

Promising Dark, Half Accoyo Boy!

Weanling Male; Future Herdsire
COLOR:  Medium Brown
ARI:  Pending                    DOB:  6/7/2011

Percy has exhibited outstanding conformation since birth, and his soft fleece is coming
in with good density and well defined bundles with high amplitude crimp. In addition to
his physical characteristics, Percy appears to have inherited the wonderful, friendly
personality of his mother Sweet Friday and half sister Rosalind Franklin.

Percy is a half Accoyo future herdsire, with the well known imports PPeruvian Felix,
Pperuvian Vengador, and Pperuvian Terror, all from the first group of Accoyo males
imported into the U.S. in 1994, in his lineage.

Percy is named after the American physicist Percy Williams Bridgman. Dr. Bridgman
won the 1946 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the physics of matter under high
pressures..
