fine, dense fleece, as well as large bone, wonderful coverage and show presence.

MFI Toledo
Arriving in Indiana in Spring 2012!
Proven Herdsire
Half Chilean/Half Bolivian
COLOR: Dark Silver Grey
ARI: 845793
DOB: 4/14/2003
Toledo will be arriving in Indiana in early Spring, 2012! We are thrilled to be able to add
Toledo's bloodlines, which are very rare east of the Mississippi, to our grey and black
breeding program--and proud to be able to offer these rare genetics to your breeding
program as well!
In his limited show career, Toledo competed very well. Toledo is typey, with a gorgeous
head and a perfect bite. His fleece character and density are OFF The Charts! The
picture of his fleece shown here was at 4 years of age!
And in terms of his crias - he has had some stars! He has thrown numerous
ribbon-winning offspring, all grey or dark!
SA Peruvian Noche Negro
Color Champion Black!
Proven Herdsire
Full Peruvian
COLOR: Bay Black
ARI: 840414
DOB: 6/29/2002
Noche is a full Peruvian black male with outstanding conformation, solid bone and good
size. He has good presence and a "look at me" attitude, but is still friendly to people
and enjoys giving kisses! His blanket is very dense and carries a consistent crimp
throughout, and his coverage extends all the way down his legs.
Noche has more than 30 offspring on the ground, and he has proven that he throws
dark color. Two of his offspring are fawn, but all of the rest are either black, brown, or
grey! He has consistently passed his ribbon-winning characteristics on to his cria.
Mesquite's Tropical Storm
Our New Star of Our Herdsire Row!
Proven Herdsire
3/4 Peruvian; 1/4 Chilean
COLOR: Light Fawn
ARI: 31116961
DOB: 8/28/2007
We are happy to announce that Stormy has joined the Whispering Willows Alpacas
herdsire row!
Fineness, density, conformation, character, staple length, coverage, crimp--Stormy has
them all and the judges have said so!! His fleece is extremely bright, fine, dense, and
crimpy. Stormy is following in the footsteps of his bay black half-brother, 10x Champ
Rumm Runner. Stormy's sire, MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite, has limited outside
breedings, and we can see why. Stormy's lighter color comes from his great grandsire
PPPeruvian Augusto. The rest of Stormy's genetics are blacks and browns, so we
expect that he should throw color. He has now settled his first females.
French Champlain
Rare Peruvian Bloodlines!
Proven Herdsire
Full Peruvian
COLOR: Medium Fawn
ARI: 8494132
DOB: 6/7/2003
This is a beautiful male. His fleece is dense, crimpy, and baby soft--retaining a low
micron even at 8 years old! . His fleece just shines in the sun and is the most gorgeous
fawn color. He has excellent conformation, and has proven himself a great breeder.
Champlain has a fantastic pedigree with rare bloodlines, including the 1994 Alianza
import Peruvian Andrajo, and the 1998 Accoyo import 6Peruvian Accoyo the Last Don.
His brother is the well known Mr. Roosevelt of Crescent Moon Ranch. These bloodlines
are very hard to find anywhere east of the Mississippi!
Champlain is a very easy going male and is not at all aggressive. He is a great
companion as well as a star herdsire, since he is gentle with all the other males.
